Sodalite is a stone whose properties I have only just become aware of in the past few months. It is a gorgeous stone that can range in color from a deep dark to a very light blue with white marbled through it. I was drawn to this stone in particular because I had been having a terrible time sleeping at night. I just couldn’t get comfortable…tossing and turning for hours. Then once I was lucky enough to fall asleep, I would wake up several times during the night.
My sister and I purchased several strands of semi-precious stones to make energy jewelry, bracelets and necklaces for our online store Whole Body Healing44. I did some research into all of the stones that were new to me and found that Sodalite’s qualities included help with insomnia. Needless to say I wanted to experiment with this wonderful bit of information so I, of course, wore my natural chip Sodalite strand to bed. To my utter shock and surprise, I woke up in the morning to find that I had fallen asleep within minutes after my head hit the pillow. I really did not expect such dramatic results the very first time I wore this stone to bed! This was my first Miracle!
The next miracle that I was privy to with this wonderful stone happened several nights later. I was in my office and had been working on the computer for several hours doing descriptions and uploading pictures into the store. My shoulders were aching severely so I decided it was time for bed. My Sodalite strand was on a piece of Selenite in the office being cleansed and energized. I picked it up from the Selenite slab and put it on before leaving the office to go to bed….I was shocked because instantly…yes believe it or not….instantly…the pain in my shoulders was gone! I had no idea that Sodalite was a pain reliever!! I did not find that information in any of the resources that I used regarding the properties and healing qualities for Sodalite.
I also found out that I can link up to the energy in my Sodalite necklace the night I spent at my sister-in-laws house and didn’t have my “Sleeping Aid” with me :). What I did was meditate and visualized the Sodalite necklace around my neck and asked that I be blessed with it’s energy. I of course realized that this meditation had worked when I woke up in the morning refreshed with the understanding that I had fallen asleep quite easily the night before.
Sodalite is also a stone who’s energy aids the digestive system. I have found out through a visit to my Acupuncturist’s that my Digestive system is experiencing a bout in low energy. As I have been wearing my Sodalite strand to bed almost every night, I will see how my Digestive system is doing on my next visit.
